Hi, I am Mike Vernotico and I am running for Mayor as Summit's Independent choice. I am in the process of knocking on as many doors as I can to meet you and see what is on your mind. My plan is to cover the entire town before election day. I know from my conversations with residents thus far what your primary concerns are: (1) keeping our community safe and our schools strong and (2) controling property taxes while maintaining quality services. My views and recommendations on these and other issues will continue to be released through out the campaign as they are informed by discussions with you and your neighbors, and I will publish them in the press as well as on this website.
